J-Status Address

 

J-1 students must inform ISPS of his or her local U.S. address immediately upon arrival (no later than the last day of the new student orientation program). In addition, J-1 students need to inform ISPS of any changes to both local U.S. and Home country addresses within 10 days of change. The local U.S. address provided by the student must be the actual physical location where he or she resides, rather than a mailing address (PO Box address or UA Departmental address is not acceptable).

Third-Party Sponsor

In addition to updating your address in student link, students with DS2019 issued by other than the University of Arizona, must inform their program sponsor of all address changes as they occur.


How To Report A Local U.S. Address To ISPS:
Step 1: Log in Student-Link at https://sl.arizona.edu/student%5Flink/
Step 2: Click “Personal, ” then click “Addresses”
Step 3: Enter/update a local U.S. and home country addresses (Please make sure a local U.S. address is designated as "local" in student-link)


Note 1: J-1 students are required to update any address changes through student-link during post completion Academic Training.  

Note 2: AR-11 (or AR-11SR) is not required as long as a student reports any address changes through Student-Link while maintaining an J-1 status.

Note 3: If change of status application has been filed, a student must also notify the respective USCIS office or Service Center a change of address.
